Video Clip – PLAYING IN THE BAND
It was a privilege to sit in with the American Beauty Band at Hailey’s Harp & Pub this past weekend. Larry, Katie and the group are great curators of this music!

Here’s one I liked from the recent Ripple Allstars show @ The Bitter End. Check out this Dylan cover (longest song title ever, and it doesn’t even appear in the song), “It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry”.
January has been a tough month as far as music heroes exiting this dimension. This song was originally released on Crosby, Stills & Nash’s eponymous debut album, and was also performed frequently by Crosby and Nash in the duet format. It is one of my desert island songs. Super stoked to get a half-decent take…
This from Carnival Parade, from a private pool party last summer
I love love love playing this tune – here’s a nice version from soundcheck @ The Bitter End a few weeks ago.
Myself and Norm Russell, who’ve been playing together since we were teenagers, got a chance to play a set at the historic McGillin’s Olde Ale House in my hometown of Philadelphia. Here’s a few highlights from the performance. Whew, they made us feel welcome!
This Steely Dan tune is always a smoker. I don’t set the solo, I ride the lightning. Hope you enjoy.
