I began playing guitar at age 13 in Philadelphia. My first guitar came from Sears. I took lessons and practiced in my bedroom along with the rock masters of the day. Inspired by advanced rock compositions by artists like Steely Dan and the Grateful Dead, I pursued a music degree in college. I graduated from Temple U. with a Bachelors in Jazz/Commercial Guitar Performance and a more diverse musical taste and ability. After a 16 month gig on a cruise ship, I moved to NY city and have spent lo these many years gigging and teaching all over the NY tri-state area and beyond. I have shared the stage with notables such as Candido, Ray Mantilla, Jimmy Vivino, David Gans and Chip Jackson.
